Beautiful Sarawakian Ladies

Sarawak is one of the 13 states in Malaysia which is situated on the Borneo island. Sarawak is also known as "Land of the Hornbills". In an already uniquely multi-cultural Malaysia, Sarawak is amazingly considered one of the most vibrant states in terms of ethnic groups, cultures and religion. It is home to sub-ethnic groups each with its own particular way of life, tradition and language/dialect.

Because Sarawak is so full of different races and ethnicity, there's bound to be an intermarriage, which I personally think would resulted in making good looking babies. =) I'm not saying that the ones that's 100% aren't pretty though. 

A few months ago, when there's nothing better to do except to go on-line and be on Facebook, I realized that I love going through pretty girls pictures and start 'stalking' them. Not literally though. Set that a side, I want to share the reason why I feel like blogging about beautiful Sarawakian ladies. Well, one night, I came across a photo of this one stupid Malay girl's wall on Facebook from West Malaysia saying that Sarawakians are really ugly people. That really pissed me off. There's a lot of Sarawakians that are good looking! 

So, here are a few ladies that I personally think that are beautiful. Some of them I know in person and some are my friend's sisters. 

 The two pictures above is Felicity Anai Michael (23 years old). She's Iban with some Chinese heritage I supposed . Not only she has the looks, she also got the brains. 

Another two pictures above is Scherrie Amanda (20 years old). She's a mix of Bidayuh, Chinese and Iban. Scherrie is currently studying Mass Communication in Limkokwing University. When Scherrie was 18, she joined the Fair and Lovely Beauty Pageant (2010) and was one of the 15 finalist. 

 This is my primary school classmate, Pamela Lawrence Laing (20 years old). She's Kayan. Pamela is currently taking a Diploma in Accounting in UITM . Pamela looks has not change since primary school. She still look pretty as always.

This is my college classmate's sister, Eva Romina. She has a mix heritage, her dad's Malay and her mum is Eurasian. I think Eva is one of the most 'ayu' Malay girls I've known. This is my schoolmate when I was studying in SMK DPHA Gapor, Joycelyn Bunsuan. She's a Bisaya. She is currently taking Bachelor of Civil Engineering in UNIMAS.

This is one of my close friend's sister, Elizabeth Kay Nyigor (23 years old). Elizabeth has a Bidayuh dad and her mum is mix Chinese, Iban and Indian. She is currently studying in UKM. I think she looks like Hillary Duff sometimes.

This is Presceilia Sandra (20 years old). Presceilia is 100% Bidayuh. I've known her for almost 16 years now, since kindergarten. After kindergarten, she went to SK Laksamana with me and became my classmate for the next 6 years. After primary school, we both went to SMK DPHA Gapor and stayed there till Form 3. In Form 4, I moved to SMK BL and she moved to Teknik Kuching, right beside SMK BL.

There are many other ladies that I find beautiful but I can't put all their pictures in here. However, I would update this post once in a while and add new pictures of other beautiful ladies. The Ladies in My Family that I find Beautiful

My family is very important to me. I love each and every one of them although they can be very irritating at times. I would like to share about the ladies in my family to all of you and this post is dedicated to those ladies.

One of those ladies is my mum. My mum is a pure Bidayuh lady from Kampung Panchor (somewhere near Serian). My mum is one of those mums who's young (When I say young, I mean it. She's only in her late 30s and has 4 kids) and hip.. She's very trendy for a mum, so when I go out with her, people would think that we are sisters. She makes me feel old.. haha.. but that's not the reason why she's beautiful to me. She is a very caring mother. She loves each one of her children and takes good care of them. I'm proud for having a mother like her. She is also a loving wife. My mum treats my dad like as if they are still in their honeymoon.

Then, there's my sisters. Yes. They are still little girls but I believe that they will grow up to be amazing ladies. My sisters are Laura and Liahona. My sisters are annoying as hell but they are still my sisters. I love them so dearly although I don't show it very much. My sisters always fight among themselves but at the end of the day, they still love each other. Both my sisters are very smart. 2 years ago, Laura got straight As in her UPSR. Now she is in Form 2. Liahona on the other hand is still in Primary 4. She's good in her studies but she's also pretty lazy. 

My cousin Clarissa is also one of the beautiful ladies in my family. She is a mix of Chinese and Bidayuh. Her mum married to a Chinese man from Singapore thus making her a Singaporean. Although we are far apart, we always see each other during the holidays. Clarissa is very pretty and loves fashion. She loves dressing up. I've always been fascinated by what she wear and what she's gonna do with her hair and makeup. She once told me that she does not have any natural beauty so she needs makeup to make her beautiful. Well, my dear cousin, You are beautiful, with or without the makeup. 

     

The above picture is my dear aunt and her daughter Clarissa. Beautiful pair of mother and daughter. I love both my aunt and cousin. They are such nice people. It's always a joy seeing them both. My aunt is a working mum, so she spend less time at home. However, when she do have a day off, she would spend her day at home with her family (or so I think). Hehe... My dad, her brother said she talks a lot. And she does. I find it really funny. Well, she is fun to be with. I love being around her.

There are more beautiful ladies in my family that inspires me. Sadly, I don't have their pictures. But I guess it's okay. I would write more in the future.
